The 5th graders spent the day at another school!
What?
All the 5th graders from all five elementary schools in San Gabriel went to Jefferson last Wednesday to learn about the middle school we would all be going to next year. Each school's group of soon-to-be 6th graders toured around Jefferson and saw the B building classrooms and the auditorium. We all got to experience a “Jefferson Hour” in the auditorium with the 6th and 7th graders. We heard the band play cool songs and got to award the fast Jog-a-thon runners. There was also a cool contest to see who could find the marshmallow rabbit under lots of whip cream with only your mouth! We had a fun time there and came back to Coolidge just in time for lunch.
